Set of two polychrome enameled earthenware revolutionary plates with contoured edges from Nevers (late 18th/early 19th century); one marked "je chéris ma liberté" in a medallion surmounted by a bust of an officer of the Garde Nationale, the other centered on a medallion of the altar of the Patrie surmounted by an angel carrying a banner "vive la Nation, la Loi et Roy", above the inscription "le Sermant civique".
