(PQ hallmark with antique oar for Pierre-François Queillé. This hallmark was inscribed on October 23, 1834, crossed out on November 27, 1846).
Joséphine" model designed by BIENNAIS (Napoleon 1er's goldsmith) for the Empress, based on drawings by architect and decorator Charles PERCIER. Then taken over by the QUEILLE family from original dies they had acquired.
Exceptional solid silver menagère, finely chased, decorated with friezes of vine branches, cherubs, horns of plenty... (minèrve hallmark first title) comprising 72 pieces including:
- 18 large forks
- 17 large spoons
- 18 dessert sets (36 pieces)
- one ladle, traces of restoration on three points of the handle.
