Vallons gondola cabin tagged by French artist Britt A gondola lift by Italian manufacturer Agudio was built in 1983: the TCD6 at Vallon de l'Iseran. At the time, it was the second of its kind to be built in the resort (the first being the Daille). As a result, it took just under 20 minutes to reach the pass from Le Fornet (including 12 minutes by gondola lift), which was quite a rarity in the early 1980s, when the majority of lifts were fixed-grip chairlifts or surface lifts. French artist BRITT, born in Lyon, took up her mother's trade as a decorative painter after studying art history. She spends her days on building sites, painting frescoes, trompe-l'oeil, faux-marbres and plasterwork. For the past ten years, she has been painting mixed media. She works with posters she finds in the streets of Lyon, Genoa, Paris...
