MURANO GLASS FROG - Lot 38
MURANO GLASS FROG Unique Murano frog by Promenoria For Romeo Sozzi, founder of Promemoria, the frog is a metaphor full of stories and legends. A symbol of evolution, a nurturing creature since Antiquity, a benevolent genie close to God: many cultures have invested the frog with power and charm. Promemoria pieces are an expression of the purest Italian excellence. Promemoria has ancient roots, a story that began in the 19th century in a small town on Lake Como, where the Sozzi family ran a workshop restoring and repairing the carriages of the local aristocracy.
